An Outlaw Wedding
Earlier this month we had the absolute pleasure of attending the wedding of my cousin Anna and her partner Heather. The happy couple resides in Maumee, Ohio - and since their relationship is way more ground breaking than Ohio’s legal system, they dubbed this the “Outlaw Wedding”.
Perhaps opponents of same-sex marriage should simply attend a same-sex wedding like this one - then they can really see how we like to get things done. Huge smiles, laughs, kisses, tears, bubbles, love everywhere, and probably the most fantastic triple-decker cake ever made.
These two not only started a marriage, but a family. Anna, the superstar that she is, has taken on the name of ‘wife’ right along side ‘mother’ to Heather’s son Matty. Just take one look at this little blonde’s smile and you will have no doubt in your mind what a special family has begun.
Anna and Heather - we wish you the absolute best on your journey together, and hope that the rest of your lives gives you as much love and happiness as your wedding day gave us.
