Last spring - I walked into an elevator full of Upper East Side ladies in the Barneys men’s department. Choked with fur wraps and alien sized YSL sunglasses, the ladies immediately started whispering amongst themselves…

“Thats a pendleton jacket - I think I could wear a pendleton jacket, where can we buy a pendleton jacket - he is wearing a pendleton jacket!”

Yes - it is Pendelton, and no, not Pendleton with Opening Ceremony or Pendleton for Urban Outfitter, and most certainly not Pendleton with Hurley. 

Just plain old made in Oregon - Pendleton. 

No matter how trendy, no matter how god damn popular it becomes, I love my “He must be wearing Pendleton” Pendleton Jacket.
